Thanks for stopping by. youshouldgo.to is a non-profit side project rooted in my love for city trips.
I spend a lot of time preparing trips, mainly focused on art, music, coffee, dining and cocktails. A.k.a. the good life.
Over the years I saved my favourite spots and places I want to visit a.s.a.p. on Google Maps. These maps are shared and used frequently by friends and family during their trips, but the vast amount of uncategorized addresses can be overwhelming.
Enter youshouldgo.to, a map application where you can browse my go-to places by type (art, architecture, parks, cocktail bars ...) and/or by neighbourhood. There are also a few extras: my absolute favourites, comments explaining why you should go there (work in progress), and a simple way to create your own to do list for your trip. You can even create and save your own map.
The aim of this project is to easily share my enthusiasm and experience with fellow city trippers. This first version is entirely dedicated to Berlin. Soon you'll also find maps of Barcelona, Valencia and Cologne here, as well as an extra feature that allows you to compose your own list based on tags like 'for teenagers', for 'whisky lovers', etc.
This project will never be finished, which is obviously great. If you enjoy it, feel free to give a small donation to help cover the technical costs of running this application. Your feedback on the project or on the spots on the map is always warmly welcomed.
